Description

Vision Boards are amazing tools to motivate students! When your students begin to know the "why" to their goals, the fuse is ignited and progress sky rockets. There's no excuse for not getting started with all of the quotes, power words, and phrases that target Growth Mindset, Communication, Learning, Character Traits, and much more in this resource. Students also learn how to write S.M.A.R.T. Goals related to school, social, well-being, and personal development.

A vision board is a tool used to help clarify, maintain focus, and concentrate on a specific life goal. It’s a visual representation or collage of the things that you want to have, be, or do in your life. The visual display consists of a paper, poster, or bulletin board with cut-out pictures, drawings and/or writing on it of the things that you want in your life or the things that you want to become.

Creating a vision board is a fun and creative way for students to become clear on their goals, dreams, and desires, and helps transforms them into reality. Most students are hands-on and visual learners which makes vision boards so powerful in helping students focus on and reach their goals.

My students have been busy creating their Vision Boards this week and they really are enjoying the process and beginning to connect their personal goals with their academic and specialized goals. I'm super excited to hear stories about your students and their progress!

This resource is tailored to Middle School & High School students.

This Vision Board Goals Project is an outstanding resource for helping students connect with their personal goals in a meaningful way. The project encourages students to explore their aspirations, understand the "why" behind their goals, and visualize their future success. The materials are well-organized and adaptable, making it easy to implement across various grade levels and settings. My students were highly engaged throughout the activity, and it sparked insightful discussions about their ambitions and the steps needed to achieve them. This resource not only fosters self-reflection but also promotes motivation and a growth mindset. Highly recommend for educators looking to inspire and empower their students through goal setting!

We started this project as part of our goal setting discussions. The students got more into than I thought they would! It was a great way to look at who they are and who they want to be, and how they can make it happen.
