I have used this visual necklace to help my students with autism understand what is being requested of them as well as to help minimize the talking from adults in the classroom.
These really do work wonders and it makes you realize how much some of your lower functioning students can understand when the directions are given to them in visual form.

Special education teacher
I made these for every staff member in my special education classroom to have on their lanyard, and it works perfectly with reinforcing with the students. It also helps that we all use the same visual so they’re seeing it from every staff member so it’s very consistent. I would recommend this for anybody that works in a special education classroom.
