Simply put, visual perception is what we call the process of our brain making sense of what our eyes see. It is the combination of factors that relate to our understanding of things we see around us. These are things we can take for granted like recognizing that your envelope and picture on the wall have the same shape, differentiating between letters like the infamous d & b or making out a blurry picture or even a broken sign.
