Description

These 102 + 102 (204 total) visual schedule and daily routine cards or labels can be helpful with your new Chinese speaking students, from Mainland China and Hong Kong who struggle with English as a second language (ESL, EFL, ELL). These translation cards have the phrases and words in both English and Simplified Chinese (Mandarin) as well as English and Traditional Chinese (Cantonese). Welcome and help your new students feel at home, learn your daily routines and class schedules in your classroom with these translations. The cards are in five categories:

  • messages (welcome to the country, welcome to our school...)
  • instructions (line up, sit down, find a partner...)
  • subjects (social studies, music, science...)
  • places (classroom, playground, home...)
  • basics (yes, no, are you okay, toilet paper, pencil...)

This Mandarin to English plus Cantonese to English language bundle (of two resources) is great for you as a classroom teacher, support teacher, ESL teacher or school councilor.

The backs of the cards are included. You may also use one set of cards as the backs of the other set depending on how you use the cards. You may print the cards in color or black and white.

These translated phrases and words are helpful to have at the ready, to be able to communicate with your new students from Asia, specifically China and Hong Kong, who may be new arrivals or immigrants into the country.
