These 102 + 102 (204 total) visual schedule and daily routine cards or labels can be helpful with your new Farsi Persian (Iran) and Dari Persian (Afghanistan) speaking students who struggle with English as a second language (ESL, EFL, ELL). These translation cards have the phrases and words in both English and Farsi as well as English and Dari. Welcome and help your new students feel at home, learn your daily routines and class schedules in your classroom with these translations. The cards are in five categories:
- messages (welcome to the country, welcome to our school...)
- instructions (line up, sit down, find a partner...)
- subjects (social studies, music, science...)
- places (classroom, playground, home...)
- basics (yes, no, are you okay, toilet paper, pencil...)
This Farsi to English plus Dari to English language bundle (of two resources) is great for you as a classroom teacher, support teacher, ESL teacher or school councilor.
The backs of the cards are included. You may also use one set of cards as the backs of the other set depending on how you use the cards. You may print the cards in color or black and white.
These translated phrases and words are helpful to have at the ready, to be able to communicate with your new students from the Middle East, specifically Iran and Afghanistan, who may be new arrivals or immigrants into the country.
Farsi and Dari can be said to both be dialects: Farsi Persian and Dari Persian. They are very similar.
