Description

These 102 visual schedule and daily routine cards or labels + pronunciation guide can be helpful with your new Ukrainian refugee students who struggle with English as a second language (ESL, EFL, ELL). These translation cards have the phrases and words in both English and Ukrainian. Welcome and help your new students feel at home, learn your daily routines and class schedules in your classroom with these translations. The cards are in five categories:

  • messages (welcome to the country, welcome to our school...)
  • instructions (line up, sit down, find a partner...)
  • subjects (social studies, music, science...)
  • places (classroom, playground, home...)
  • basics (yes, no, are you okay, toilet paper, pencil...)

The user friendly pronunciation guide has one page per category. The pronunciation guide has a column for English, a column for Ukrainian and a column with the Ukrainian pronunciation (written).

These Ukrainian to English language resources (a bundle of two) are great for you as a classroom teacher, support teacher, ESL teacher or school councilor.

The backs of the cards are included. You may print the cards in color or black and white.

These translated phrases and words are helpful to have at the ready, to be able to communicate with your new students from the Ukraine, who may be new arrivals or immigrants into the country.
