Description

These generic visual supports templates will be a GAMECHANGER for you and your students! This product has been designed to be kept on a file folder, allowing you to keep all the visual supports you may need organized. Bonus: it is portable and able to be printed on any color paper you prefer!

This resource consists of the following:

Organizational Components

♦ Cover page with line for you to write in student's name

Behavior Supports

♦ First/Then boards - These can be used to help students understand that by complying with instructions/expectations, it will result in a reinforcer/incentive/reward. This is an effective method of motivating students to participate and engage in an activity that they do not prefer. It is also incredibly important that students understand the concept of: "first we will do this, then we will do that."

♦ Choice Boards - Also a very versatile resource. You can help students learn to make choices using the choice boards. There are an array of choice boards: 2, 3, 4, and 6 choices. These boards are great for helping kids make their lunch choice, choose an appropriate break or leisure activity, choose a self-calming strategy when they are upset, choose a partner or staff member to work with.....the possibilities are endless!

♦ Token Boards - once a student understands the "first/then" concept, you can use token boards to show them exactly how many steps or activities they need to complete to earn their reinforcer.

♦ Colorful stars and checkmarks - to be used for the token boards

♦ Activity, Incentive, Centers, Schedule, and Blank Cards -
