I made this helper during my student teaching to replace a graphic organizer for story maps that was being used that the children did not like. The 2nd graders still need the space to draw the picture, but needed more lines to write their answers on as their texts are more involved.
This helper uses Handwriting without Tears lines and spaces for them to draw and write the characters, setting, problem and solution.

Great Resource!
I liked the organization of this for my first grade students, I only wish that it used handwriting lines (with the dotted line) or just plain lines, instead of what it uses. My students do not use this form of lines in the classroom and found it very confusing. :(
I use this for work stations. I like that it is easy to use. I just wish it were a word doc so I can change solution to resolution to align with our standards, but no big deal. I am still happy with the purchase. Thank you for sharing.
