This Visualisation with David Walliams pack supports the development of students’ visualisation reading strategy skill. It provides students with excerpts from famous David Walliams stories. It contains simple instructions to highlight key words and then draw what they imagine, and worksheets that use text clues! This pack also contains Character Posters to display in your classroom for your favourite David Walliams characters.
How do I use this in the classroom:
I print and provide students with a worksheet of my choice. I read the excerpt or text clues with students. Then, students go off and draw what they visualise! I also display the Character Posters on my Reading wall.
