Description

Use these visualization structure word cards to help improve your students' reading comprehension and written and oral expression.

Lindamood Bell's Visualizing & Verbalizing is a program developed to help students improve their reading comprehension, verbal and written expression, and higher order thinking skills. Students are taught to develop their concept imagery - a visual of the whole- for the language they read and hear. They then use this image to express information in oral and written form.

I like to use these structure cards with any type of text and they work at all levels. You can even use them with picture books to develop concept imagery from a young age. To see how I use these, check out my blog post on visualizing for comprehension.

Love this template for helping the child go through the process with out a lot papers or memory... easy to pull out for the kids while tutoring. Also great for quick use and doesn't require a lot of prep-work.
