Designed for reading, literature, and vocabulary work; but also useful for science terminology -- this is the Vocab Four Square worksheet.
It provides four different ways to help students learn how to use and understand vocabulary terms. The students write the word, then definition, a sentence for the word, and a picture that coordinates with the sentence. By using a variety of strategies, the student has a greater likelihood of not only understanding the term, but being able to use it properly, and recall it correctly later on. This worksheet allows students to use the best strategy for their learning style, in order to properly remember terms and their meanings.
This worksheet works perfectly with all of the vocabulary quizzes that are also available.
