Two-Sided Problems Solving Task Cards provide an effective approach to independent practice and reteach that is necessary for mastery. The 9 levels of task cards progress in rigor from basic problems to rigorous multi step problems. They have been used to successfully prepare struggling students for the difficult state assessment test and to provide GATE students with the rigor needed.

With the word problem on one side and step by step problem solving directions on the other, students are able to work problems independently and receive immediate feedback as to their accuracy.
