These WELCOME task cards are the PERFECT activity for your first week back to school! The concept is FUN and provides a great opportunity for students to get up and move, bond, and get to know each other.
There are 7 task cards that spell out WELCOME and ask a question focusing on the following words:
World, Excited, Learn, Characteristics, Obstacles, Music, & Experiences
I suggest scattering the letters around your classroom or hallway, splitting students into small groups. This is a great opportunity to prep your students for clipboard work and to set expectations for "up and moving" type of activities.
