"I love these because the pictures are cute and the kids enjoy them. There are many examples of WH questions that can be targeted for each scene!"

Description

I created this for my students that are working on answering WH-questions (who, what, where.) Included in this packet are 9 scenes and 90 WH-questions. There are multiple ways you can use these mats, but here is how I use them:

Print and laminate the mats and question cards (there is a list of 10 questions for each picture scene.) Choose a scene to use with a student. Ask them one question at a time. Have them either point, circle with a dry erase marker, or verbally answer the questions.

You can also use these pictures to target many other goals such as:

Descriptive words

Inferencing (play an “I Spy” game)

Grammar

Prepositions

Articulation (describe the picture using good speech sounds)

and more!!
