Description

WH Questions Visuals Cards can help students learn how to respond to varied question types. The front of the cards include an introduction related to a specific question type and some practice questions, while the back provides visual examples of the target response category. For instance, on the back of the WHY question card, you can ask the child "Why is the boy cold?" The arrow pointing to the left indicates the reason, "Because it is winter. During winter, we get cold. That is the reason or why the boy is cold."

Many children have challenges in differentiating between different types of questions and often respond inappropriately. This packet can help children practice their skills in isolated question tasks or the cards can be paired with any activity to introduce more than one question type at a time.

These cards can be used as a support tool within tasks focusing on responding to questions or simply a reminder for those who are still learning the concept. The design allows for double sided printing (on short edge). You can cut out each card and laminate them for prolonged use.
