WINTER SENTENCE WRITING
This pack will help your students expand simple sentences by adding details such as describing words and phrases that tell "where", "when", and "why". To make it super easy for busy teachers, you get also cute teaching slides that show kids examples of how to stretch out a sentence to make it more interesting. Fun for kids and no prep for you! Kids love the fun WINTER theme, too!
WINTER MATH WORD PROBLEMS
This pack of 20 addition and subtraction word problems will engage your little learners during the month of January. You get to choose from 3 format options as well as 2 skill levels.
The Full Page format option provides lots of space for students to show their thinking, with space to model the story problem by drawing a picture, a number line, ten frames, and a space to write an equation.
The Math Journal format option lets you save on photocopying by printing 6 copies of the story problem per page.
The Task Card format option, which prints 4 word problems per page, is perfect for a Math Center or a Scoot game for the whole class. It includes a one page recording sheet for all 20 word problems.
WINTER POEM OF THE WEEK
This pack has 5 lively poems that are perfect for shared reading, partner reading and independent activities. These original poems invite kids to enjoy the rhythm and rhyme of seasonal poems and are perfect for Poetry folders. Each poem has 6 engaging activities that will more than fill one week. WINTER SKIP COUNTING ACTIVITIES
Looking for some skip counting practice that's fun? Counting by multiples of 2, 5 and 10 takes lots of practice and repetition, so why not make it fun? In this pack kids will practice skip counting using both picture sets and number sequence sets. This skip counting pack has two sets of task cards that provide hands on practice for counting by 1's, 2's, 5's and 10's to 100. You can use the cards two ways: as a Scoot game or as a Math Center activity. Using a Scoot game always boosts the fun factor! The Math Center includes easy recording sheets.
