Learning about word families can help students in their reading, writing, fluency, listening and speaking skills. The Double '-oo' Word Family Centers Activity helps to promote the use of '-oo' by allowing students to create their own double '-oo' words using the interactive learning cards provided. By allowing students to study these word families in an exploratory sense by creating their own word families will help students to retain what they are learning. I have created a weekly centers activity that lists 5 common word families using double '-oo' that students will learn when working with words. This activity can be worked on weekly throughout centers. This bundle consist of:

The word family cards are to be cut and laminated or printed on sturdy card stock for students to use repeatedly.
