Description

Which objects are water-absorbent and which objects are water-repellent? How much water can a diaper absorb? This product includes a lesson plan and worksheets for an experiment that tries to answer these questions.

Your students will learn about 'super absorbent polymers' inside of diapers and test if and how much water certain objects absorb.

The following files (PDF format) are included:

  • Lesson plan
  • Water absorption worksheets (experiment)
  • Water absorption worksheets (quiz)
  • Blank worksheets for you to fill in

I also included an editable PowerPoint with blank worksheets that you can use to add your own objects for the students to test.

As always, I hope your students and you enjoy this product.
