Water cycle sorting cards to assess your students' mastery of each phase of the water cycle.
Our grade level uses these cards as review after teaching the water cycle and again at the end of the year prior to standardized testing. Students work in groups to sort each description and place it under the correct phase of the water cycle.
The cards are aligned with NC Essential Science Standard 5.P.2.1: Explain how the sun’s energy impacts the processes of the water cycle (including, evaporation, transpiration, condensation,
precipitation and runoff).
