Engineering Challenge:
Can your group create a wax paper track that gets your water drop from one end to the other in the fastest time?
Materials: (per pair or group)
Wax paper – 3 foot x 4 inch strip
One strip of masking tape 8 inches long
Eyedropper
Water (we add food coloring to make it easier to see)
Chairs, tables, books, etc. to attach the track
Stopwatch
This packet contains all the information you need to make this a great engineering activity in your classroom! Lab sheets, student and teacher instructions, and challenge signs are all included! Using simple and cheap materials, you can engage your students in the engineering process!
