The purpose of this product is to provide students with a fun way of learning their multiplication facts. The large watermelons and seeds included in this product are designed to be an interactive bulletin board. Print out the title page, directions, answer key, large watermelons, and large seeds, and then laminate them. Put Velcro on the large seeds and large watermelons. Attach everything to the bulletin board (except the seeds), and you have an interactive board for your students. Place the seeds in a zip lock bag and attach it to the board. This enables students to have a place to put the seeds when they are finished with the board.
I’ve also included multiplication centers for 1-12. The multiplication problem is on the watermelon, and students have to write the answer on the chart. (Use a vis-à-vis for this.) Make sure to laminate first. This can be used as a center for students who have finished their work early.
