Waves Unit: This unit covers an entire Forces and Motion: Waves unit. This is specifically tied to North Carolina Essential Standards, or NC Essential Standards for 6th grade. The PPT is designed to cover in detail the unpacked standards.
However, this unit would work for any Forces and Motion: Waves unit. This would also be awesome for any home school program. We do not have books and this is how I teach the curriculum! This is a huge unit: close to 700 slides total!
Included in the PPT are:
-5 Weeks of Lesson Plans written in EATS format
-assessments (pre-test for the unit, post test for the unit, 4 vocab quizzes),
-assessment keys
-print off of unpacked standards for plan book
-10 pages of guided notes for students who need modifications with answer keys
-1 graphic organizer
-2 foldables
- Worksheets
-1 flow map ( I use this as an outline for a bulletin board)
- Handout with worksheet on Vocal Cords
-4 mini labs (easy labs to use in a classroom with limited supplies)
-3 guided video notes (must have discovery education account to access one of the videos)
-400+ Presentation Slides teaching in detail the unpacked standards of this entire unit, necessary background information, and digging deep areas! Things that I require my students to write in their notes are in red
