Description
Tie science and math together in this project. Have your students graph your local weather (sunny, cloudy, partly cloudy, windy and snowy) for a certain number of days. (I use 2 weeks.) Students will create a bar graph, pictograph, tally chart, and line plot based on the weather data in your town. Students are also asked to create a key chart to show what the symbols mean, and a calendar where they keep track of the daily weather. There is a project rubric included too.
The download shows you all of the project pages in sample form. Check it out!
