My students loved this activity. After introducing the concepts of WEATHER and CLIMATE, this is a great tool for discussions. Students read the statement and make a claim. They are able to immediately CHECK their claim using a simple QR code. The link will take them to the answer (WEATHER or CLIMATE) with the key words highlighted and a picture.

After the discussions and being able to check their answer, I asked students to put the concepts into their own words. Everyone had enough experiences and personal discussions to be able to intelligently compare CLIMATE and WEATHER.
