Description

Thank you for downloading the 7-block scheduler with reflection questions.

7-Block comes from dividing the time on a weekend into 7 blocks - Friday evening, Saturday morning/afternoon/ evening, and Sunday morning/afternoon/evening. The reasoning behind using blocks instead of the exact hours is to allow a more flexible and relaxed schedule while providing children with some structure.

In this PDF document, you will find the following items.

  • Brainstorming worksheet for productive and relaxing activities
  • Reflection worksheet for Balanced lifestyle
  • 7-Block Scheduler for regular weekend with self-guided questions
  • 10-Block Scheduler for 3-day weekend with self-guided questions
  • 7-Block and 10-Block Schedulers in Open Dyslexic Font
  • 7-Block Scheduler with images

For instructions to use the scheduler, please visit Synergy Parenting's blog (https://synergy-parenting.com/blog) for a detailed blog post with instructions.

For every additional holiday, add an extra 3 blocks to the existing 7-Block Scheduler. Hence, a child will have the following number of blocks based on the number of holidays:

  • Regular Weekend (Friday evening/Saturday/Sunday) - 7 blocks
  • 3-day Weekend (Friday evening/Saturday/Sunday/Monday) - 10 blocks
  • 4 day Weekend (Friday evening/Saturday/Sunday/Monday/Tuesday) - 13 block
