Description

Thank you for purchasing these WEEKLY BEHAVIOR SHEETS.

As teachers, we are all so busy and sometimes making parent phone calls and sending parent emails is the last thing we feel like doing at the end of the long school day!

Using this weekly behavior sheet is a great way to increase parent communication and find a way to communicate with parents on a DAILY BASIS by giving them notes on their child’s progress.

This is meant to be a two-sided, front & back behavior sheet that you send home with the child every day. It can be used in conjunction with behavior charts, behavior card systems and clip charts. The students will color their star each day, showing what color they ended the day on. You, as the teacher, will make a quick note about the child’s day. I often just make a smiley face if a child had a good day. I will write a note if there is good news to share about the student’s day or if the child has a behavior issue that day. It doesn’t have to take up much of your time as the majority of kiddos will hopefully just get a smiley face each day. You can write as much or as little as you choose or have time to do. The parents should review this sheet each day, sign the back, and then make any comments they may have on the back side. I will then reply to their comment the following day when a student returns their chart. It really is so wonderful to communicate with parents this way and SAVE SO MUCH TIME by eliminating the many phone calls and emails you probably have with parents now.

I have included several different versions of the front side and back side for this chart. In our class, this is called the students’ STAR SHEET, but there are other header options if you prefer.

If you purchased this item and need a small tweak made, such as different colors listed, etc., please contact me and I should be able to quickly make that change for you.

Happy Teaching!

I often have to send home weekly behavior sheets and it is so convenient that these are already made. They are easy to follow and fill out as well.

This is my go-to behavior chart! I use it weekly with my students. A lot of them know the significance of the colors. I love that it's easy to use and that there are so many options available. I only wish that parents would remember to send them back every day, but oh well...
