Description
This is your no-prep, weekly French phonics lesson featuring the sound "e" with accents "è" and "ê". Each of the 5 daily lessons build on the previous one to help students gain confidence in their decoding ability.
Studies show that explicit phonics and decoding instruction is essential for most students when helping them develop their ability to read. Not sure where to start? This weekly lesson is perfect! It requires no prep, only takes 10 minutes each day and can be easily added to the awesome language activities you're already doing.
Every lesson begins with a 2 minute phonological awareness drill, followed by a variety of activities designed to increase your student's ability to decode and encode words with the target sound. Lesson instructions are built right into the PowerPoint, so no need for multiple files.
The only thing you need to do: find an appropriate shared reading for the 5th day.
