"This is such a great resource! I didn't end up using it every week, but when I did assign it, the students were excited to tell me about what they learned and were doing that week. I also like that students can privately mention if they have questions or need support."

Description

Use these weekly reflection/check-in forms to allow your students to reflect on their week and to check-in with them. The form questions included allow students to reflect on successes and challenges, think about and share what they learned, evaluate their behavior and work habits, and set future goals. These were created through Google Forms, they have 17 check-in/reflection questions, and are fully editable - add your own personal questions. This form is a great way to not only check in with students but also hold them accountable for their choices. My students love these!

I used the Weekly Reflection/Check-in Form at the start of the year, and it was perfect for the first few weeks into the semester to help students reflect and stay on track. However, I found it a bit overwhelming to use every single week, so I now use it occasionally rather than weekly. It’s a great tool for fostering self-awareness and accountability, especially early on, and works well when balanced with other check-ins. Recommend for teachers wanting structured reflection without overloading students.

This activity is very useful to have students reflect upon what they did during the week, what worked, what did not work, what they learned, and they set new goals for the coming week.
