Each prompt comes with a special word bank and tips for checking the writing prompts. 50 total writing prompts: 42 are general prompts for any time of the year and 8 are seasonal, holiday prompts. This resource was designed for a once a week journal writing practice activity with time for students to review and check their work using the included "Check Your Work" checklist. Students also practice restating the question, staying on topic, and basic paragraph formatting! There are enough prompts to complete at least one each week of the school year.
