Description

Welcome, young ecologists, to an immersive exploration into the intricate web of life within various ecosystems! In this engaging activity, students will assume the roles of key organisms within diverse habitats, unraveling the complexities of their interactions and dependencies. Through hands-on simulations and critical thinking scenarios, participants will not only play the part of different ecosystem inhabitants but also ponder the profound impacts that the absence of each species could have on the delicate balance of their respective environments.

After each student gets their roles (animals, birds, plants, etc.) the scenario cards inject s negative into the ecosystem. The students have to discuss the impacts and connections of the injection. My students love these. I hope yours do too.
