The text explains why or how something happened. Don’t confuse with chronological and won’t have a beginning, middle, and end.

SIGNAL WORDS

because, leads to, on account of, so, as a result, consequently, outcome, therefore, when/if - then, effects of, reasons for, since, thus, influenced by, in order to, due to, is caused by, for this reason.

Thank you Nicholas for your feedback. I took a look and yes, indeed, found the presentation could use some updated pizzazz. Updated for high school with more depth - 23 extra slides!
