Description
This activity comes with 12 cards for reviewing biome characteristics. The task cards are written as if the animals or plants that live in the biomes are describing them. Using the clues in the text, students have to figure out which biome the animal or plant lives in. This activity comes with a word bank that can be used to guide students, if necessary.
These tasks cards can be posted up around the room, students can use them as flash cards individually, or they can be completed in small student groups. There are many options for use!
There is also a link provided upon purchase for an EDITABLE version! This link will lead you to a copy of the Google Presentation that the activity was created in. Once you make your own copy, you can edit the existing task cards or add your own additional prompts! Note: This editable version will only work if you have access to Google Presentation through GAFE or a personal Google account.

This was a great supplement to our lessons on biomes. It worked out well and the students were engaged. I converted it to google slides and made a google response form that I used as homework review for a quiz. It worked out really well to identify the "giveaway" clues to the answers.
Thanks
