"This made emergency sub plan prep so easy - thank you for this resource! Hopefully I never need to use my emergency sub plans, though it will be quite funny to hear their responses if I do! "

We can all agree that we hate being out sick, right? Well, let this writing assignment make your sub plans a little bit easier! Using this prompt, your students will do a creative writing assignment entitled, "Where in the World is My Teacher?" They will use their imagination to write a descriptive story detailing where they think you are!
My students completed this assignment and let me tell you - I have NEVER seen such descriptive and creative writing come from them! They LOVED IT! Plus, it was so easy for me to put it in my sub plans - it was already done and ready to go.
I came back the next day and was in tears (from laughter) reading these stories. The kids were so creative and hilariously detailed ("I think Mrs. Hall is laying on the beach sipping Diet Coke enjoying the fact that no one is calling her Mrs. Hall.")
Enjoy!!
