HOW TO USE:
- Copy and laminate Whole Class Assessment Cards
- Pass out Whole Class Assessment Cards and a manipulative (M&M, block, Hershey Kiss, Fruit Loop, Goldfish, etc.)
- Show slides on SmartBoard as a Power Point Presentation
- Say what each picture to ensure knowledge of vocabulary
- Have students place manipulates on the numbers that correspond to the pictures that rhyme – this is a good way to assess skills of the whole class all at once
- Once students have shown their answer discuss what the correct answer may be and then show on the slide with the animation.
