Description
Students will get plenty of practice with dividing numbers with this fun math twist on the MadLibs style game! They will solve for quotients of up to 4-digit dividends divided by 2-digit divisors, as well as single and multi-step word problems. Then match their work to the answers on the second page. Once a match is made, students choose a word that matches the part of speech associated with that answer box. After all questions have been answered, students transfer their parts of speech to the story page. Students LOVE to read and share their unique silly stories with their classmates!
This activity works best by giving students the worksheet first (I let mine work in partners, so they have someone to read the story with at the end). Once all the problems are completed, then students come to me to get the story and fill in their words.
