Description

This is a bundle of my Small Science: Wind unit & Wind Boom Cards Digital Learning Deck.

This Small Science: Wind is aimed at kindergarten and lower elementary school (Grade 1-3) students as well as home-school students. It is fun and hands on STEM inquiry, which explores the force of air in motion and cardinal directions

This Wind Unit is 27 pages in total and appropriate for one week to one month. For the teacher, there is background information which simply explains the science involved, a page of picture book suggestions, additional activity suggestions as well as 2 challenge cards to laminate and save. It includes 3 color visual step by step experiments on the force of wind and cardinal directions. Each of these activities comes with a printable observation worksheet. This resource contains 5 full color classroom/ center posters and 8 printable worksheets.

These are perfect for kindergarten and lower elementary school students.

Make observations to determine the effect of sunlight on Earth's surface. Examples of Earth's surface could include sand, soil, rocks, and water. Assessment of temperature is limited to relative measures such as warmer/cooler.

Use and share observations of local weather conditions to describe patterns over time. Examples of qualitative observations could include descriptions of the weather (such as sunny, cloudy, rainy, and warm); examples of quantitative observations could include numbers of sunny, windy, and rainy days in a month.
