Description

This science unit engages students in hands-on learning that builds their understanding of wind & water changes. This primary-friendly unit is designed so students can be successful regardless of their reading abilities. It includes an easy-to-implement lesson slide deck that keeps students engaged using interactive components. During the lesson, students complete writing, drawing, circling, and/or coloring tasks on their guided notes booklets. The engineering challenge allows students to apply what they have learned by designing a model that slows or prevents water from changing the shape of the land. The simple formative assessment allows students to demonstrate their mastery of the unit.
