Description

These winter pattern block task cards are perfect to add to your December or January Lesson Plans!

Your students will LOVE making pattern block pictures with this fun set of Winter/Christmas cards. This packet includes 20 printable task cards for teaching about 2D shapes and composing pictures.

It could not be easier- just print , cut and GO! Students get SO engaged using these task cards. This activity can be used for small group, whole group, early finishers, remediation, reteaching, early finishers, math centers or stations, and more! It is incredibly versatile in its uses.

There are 20 Task Cards Included:

❄️ Snowman

❄️ Christmas Tree (2 Different Versions)

❄️ Reindeer

❄️ Santa Claus

❄️ Elf

❄️ Tree Farm

❄️ Sledding Hill

❄️ Santa's Sleigh

❄️ Menorah

❄️ Star

❄️ Wreath

❄️ Penguin

❄️ Snowflake (2 Different Versions)

❄️ Snow Hat

❄️ Holly

❄️ Ornament

❄️ Arctic Fox

❄️ Hot Chocolate

(All offered in both color and black and white for your convenience)

This pack also includes 2 picture mats for students to place their pattern blocks on- the mat comes in color and in black and white. I print the cards on cardstock and laminate for some common core aligned, hands-on learning!! I also laminated the picture mats so students could use dry erase markers to write the number of shapes they used!

Please note that these are task cards which means they are not big enough for students to lay the actual blocks on top of them to build the composite shapes. This is an AMAZING way to get students to practice visualizing and conceptualizing in their heads!
