Description

Are you looking for a fun way to keep your students engaged this winter? Send them a digital puzzle!

Digital Winter Puzzles are a great way to motivate students to think critically. The puzzles are challenging, but fun! Students must study the seasonal images and determine the value of each image, based on the values provided. They will need to add, subtract, multiply, divide, plus use logical thinking and visual discrimination skills. The puzzles require perseverance, which will improve with practice.

These puzzles are completely digital. The download includes 10 Google Form links for 10 digital puzzles (includes 3 emoji puzzles, 3 balance puzzles, and 4 grid puzzles- see preview). Just click to save a copy of each puzzle to your own Google Drive. Then, send your students a link to the form via Google Classroom, email, or another secure online learning platform (with logins). Do not share the links on an open site on the Internet. Students can solve the puzzle and submit the answer back to you, digitally. Directions for use are included.

These are so nice to have as a quick assignment to start our class out. I love to get the students thinking about how to solve the different picture puzzles. They are nice to just be able to assign on Google Classroom for the students to complete each day!

These are engaging for my high-level thinkers! Easy to throw onto Google Classroom. Rather challenging for others. It's a good early-finisher activity.

My kids love these! I use them as early finisher's activities, and they sure do motivate my students to get their work done! The kids have come up with great strategies for solving them.

I love picking up resources that either add a no-prep rotation option or a strong early finisher option. This resource fits that exactly for me. I am very happy with this purchase!

I am using this resource to challenge my high ability learners. I like that it is digital so they can get on their device and complete a puzzle or two when they have time and can get instant feedback while I am working with other students.
