This packet includes 60 original fluency passages (fiction, nonfiction, poems, and songs). Each passage includes Power Words (vocabulary), comprehension and phonics work along with a home connection component. Each passage also includes a separate page of language arts skills. These passages are fantastic to supplement any reading program. They can be used in a whole group setting or for independent work. I use them in a whole group setting in my 1st grade classroom, but I have heard a lot of success from Kindergarten teachers using them with higher students and 2nd and 3rd grade teachers using them with their lower reading groups.
