Description
I created this as a fun enrichment math activity for my students to work on before holiday break. There are 12 challenging problems that require students to think strategically and apply their knowledge of addition and subtraction with regrouping. There are two versions included:
- 12 Task Cards that can be printed and laminated, with a student answer sheet that can be printed each year
- a 4-page student handout that has the problems on the left side of the page and a student work space on the right side of the page
Answer keys are included for both versions. I used this with my advanced 2nd and 3rd graders, but this would be a good review activity for 4th graders as well.
