This is such a fun winter-themed activity bundle that can be used in so many ways!

There are 2 different activities included in this winter-themed bundle.
One activity includes 26 literacy puzzles where your students will need to match the beginning sound with the correct Uppercase & lowercase letters.
The other activity included in this bundle has 20 math snowman puzzles. Each puzzle includes a numerical number 1-20 as well as tally marks and ten frames showing that number. Your students will practice subitizing while they complete each puzzle by matching the flashcards with the correct ten-frame and tally marks on them with each numerical number.

Objective: To help your students identify numbers 1-20 as well as practice subitizing using ten frames and tally marks to complete each snowman puzzle. These activities will also help your students be able to identify and sort beginning letter sounds as well as match Uppercase and lowercase letters together to complete each “snowman” puzzle.

Prep: These winter-themed puzzles are simple to download and print. Once printed, you will need to cut them out and then cut through the two lines in the middle of each snowman puzzle in order to separate the #3 different parts. You could either print these on cardstock so they do not rip as easily or, I prefer laminating them.

Directions: For the math puzzles your students will complete each one by identifying each numerical number 1-20 and then identifying the ten frames and tally marks that show that number. For the literacy activity your students will complete each one by finding the matching Uppercase and lowercase letter, as well as the item that begins with that letter of the alphabet and putting them together to complete each snowman puzzle.
