Description

Winter No Prep Math for first grade is a packet of 10 math worksheets featuring a winter theme. You can use one worksheet per day as a warm up to your daily classroom lesson. This packet is designed to meet the level of a mid-year first grade student.

Math topics covered:

  • Solve addition and subtraction word problems within 20.
  • Fluently add and subtract within 10.
  • Use addition and subtraction to solve problems involving unknowns.
  • Understand the meaning of addition as putting together.
  • Understand the meaning of subtraction as taking apart.
  • Count to 120 starting from any number.
  • Read and write numbers to 120.
  • Understand place value for tens and ones.
  • Compare two two-digit numbers using symbols.
  • Add within 100 using place value strategies.
  • Subtract multiples of 10 from two-digit numbers.
  • Measure and compare lengths using nonstandard and standard units.

  • Partition circles and rectangles into equal shares.
