What is the challenge?

• Students build a model of a snowflake using various supplies.
• They must work to make the shape symmetrical, beautiful, and detailed.
• You can opt to require that the final product be a stand-alone model so the models can be displayed.
• Another option is to use a budget and purchase the materials needed.

What is your prep?

You will also need supplies for this package. These include white pipe cleaners, cotton swabs, craft sticks, toothpicks, decorative items, white glue, and calculators. Of course, you can substitute with any materials you already have on hand. Suggestions for materials are included in the resource.
