This example is meant to accompany 5th Grade Wit&Wisdom Module 2 Handout 15A. Students are asked to create a character for the book Phantom Tollbooth. Wit&Wisdom provides a sample answer written in paragraph form. This is a visual representation of that sample answer. Boxes with information are verbatim from the sample answer. This can be used as a scaffold for visualization. For students who struggle you could allow them to draw their character first and then develop the information around the drawing. This tool is black and white for ease of printing and can be colored in at your desecration for a more dynamic visual. For best view printing it on 11x17 paper will increase you ability to see the small details such as the name tag etc. but can easily be printed out on 8.5x11 paper.
