Description
Wonder is a book compacted with hidden themes, character development, and conflict struggles! The main thing my students truly love and enjoy however, are Mr. Browne's precepts. Due to this, I came up with a culminating writing activity, allowing the students to interpret one precept from the text that has the most important message! For this activity, students are given explicit instructions for forming the Wonder silhouette and from there, are asked to interpret what the precept found at the end of the novel means to them! I do this as a homework assignment that they present in class, but you can choose to do whatever fits best with your class needs!
