Description

I designed this Wonder literature study to use with my fifth graders. They LOVED the book Wonder, and I wanted them to glean as many important literary skills from it as possible, so I created note-taking sheets that we started each lesson with. The note-sheets included literary definitions, cause/effect, inference practice, characterization, metaphors/similes, and more. I also included two quizzes: one I used midway through the book and then a second one I used at the end. This unit-of-study also has a writing prompt activity at well. Plus, there is a set of differentiated inference worksheets that you can also use as homework or a classwork grade. Overall, this worked great with my class, and I really hope you find it useful to use to in yours! (I included an answer key as well. And if anyone wants me to send them an editable document instead of the PDF, just let me know. :))
