Do your students understand the standards but begin to struggle when presented with word problems? I put together two different packets to help my students practice word problems. I have used these as in class review, centers, and Saturday school work. This year I think I might try using one of the packets for Spring break.
This packet contains 4 pages of word problems, 8 problems per page. The topics covered are MONEY, TIME, PERIMETER, and NUMERACY. An answer key for each page is included.
I also created a second packet of word problems (Wonderful Weekly Word Problems 2) that covers FRACTIONS, multi-digit MULTIPLICATION, MEASUREMENTS and ESTIMATING. You can find that packet here.
