Description

Wonders in this unit:

What is a Sakura?

Why do Bunnies Hop?

How Do Trees Make Sap?

How are Jelly Beans Made?

How Far Can Butterflies Fly?

New Wonders of the Day like those listed above are posted daily, and connect engaging informational text to content areas across the curriculum, including STEM subjects. Each Wonder meets multiple Common Core State Standards, particularly for reading and language, and can easily be used to support writing, speaking, and listening.

I created a Spring bundle package that has students asking questions, reading nonfiction text, writing poems, talking about weather, creating art, graphing, learning about the life cycle of butterflies, and practicing double digit addition either with or without regrouping.
