Using this set of task cards is a great way for kids to practice reading and writing numbers up to 100,000. They are geared for 3rd grade but would be great for review for 4th grade at the beginning of the year. (This set is included in the 3rd Grade Math Task Cards Bundle that is a great way to get more task card sets and save money.)
This set of Word Form Task Cards includes:
10 total slides...
- Cover page
- Label for station/center box or folder
- 24 task cards
- 1 Recording Sheet
- 1 Answer Key
- Credits Page
Easy set up! Just print, cut, and laminate for longer lasting cards.
Ways to use Task Cards:
- Place them on desks around the room and have 1 student per card. Students can move at their own pace or you can give them a certain amount of time and tell students when to move.
- Tape task cards on the walls around the room. Students can travel with a clipboard around the room at their own pace.
- Station Activity: Place cards in a basket for a small group of students to share a set of cards. Each student has their own recording sheet, takes a card to solve, and places card back in the basket. Students can work in any order and at their own pace.
